Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Registering a truck bought on the Continent for UK use is relatively easy, depending on how much you like filling in forms and chasing information.

• Give the manufacturer the vehicle's chassis number so they can provide a letter confirming it meets British Type Approval. Adjustments to the truck may be required, but these are likely to be minor for European Type Approved vehicles (unlike North American vehicles—see CM16-22 March).

• Take the letter to the Vehicle Certification Agency for a Certificate of Conformity and then take the certificate to the Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency.

• Finally, take the truck to a ministry test centre for an annual test. You can then register it and get to work.
