IMechE conference
"TECHNIQUES for the prediction and simulation of in-service conditions" is the title of an Institution of Mechanical Engineers two-day conference to be held at the IMechE's London headquarters on May 22 and 23.
Keith Parmee, of Eaton, is the chairman of the conference's planning panel.
He commented: "The design of products to suit worldwide applications together with increasing customer expectations for longer life, higher speeds, greater comfort and the increased use of technology are placing greater pressures on the design and development engineer to ensure that the product will meet the requirements before it is released for production."
