A branch of the Road Haulage Association has been formed at Malton, Yorkshire. Mr. W. Wilkinson is the chairman and Mr. C. Ireland, of 46, Old Malton Gate, Malton, is the secretary. The committee comprises Messrs. A. C. Bell, Thackeray, Cook, Donkin, Dennis, Stones and Paulin.
Mr. M. C. Vickers, divisional organizer of the R.H.A., reports a rapid increase in membership at Sheffield, Rotherham, Hull and Huddersfield. Rates committees have been formed in Hull, Sheffield, Leeds and Malton.
