QUINTON Hazell has reduced the price of its QH Underrider kits following a sales upsurge.

Price reductions are between £20-£40 icross the range of kits, including standard, reduced leg and kickback versions.

Quinton Hazell says that demand for the Underider has grown significantly since the introduction in 1983 of legislation related to vehicle under-run protection.

Sales are currently 40% higher than the same time last year.

To meet the increased demand, OH has set up a new flow line production unit at its Colwyn Bay plant. The combination of increased demand and new manufacturing facilities has enabled them to reduce unit costs which are now being passed on.
