Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOLLOWING the recent announcement that NBC's Eastern Counties subsidiary is to be reorganised into three smaller companies from September 9, 1984, managers have been appointed to head the three new units.

Peter Brundle will be manager of Eastern Counties Omnibus Co. Ltd, which is retaining the name and Norwich headquarters of the existing company but will now concentrate on bus operations in Norfolk and Suffolk. Mr Brundle has been traffic manager for United Counties at Northampton since 1980.

After graduating from Bristol University with an honours degree in economics and politics, he joined the bus industry as a senior management trainee with Midland Red. He held local management appointments with Trent before moving to United Counties as assistant traffic manager in 1974, and subsequently spent two years as traffic manager with East Yorkshire Motor Services at Hull. Paul Merryweather, is to be manager of Cam bus Ltd. He will be based in Ely and will take over Eastern Counties' existing bus operations in Cambridgeshire. Since 1981 Mr Merryweather has been secretary/accountant to the present Eastern Counties company, having previously held a simjlar position with Midland Red., He joined Midland Red, initially as operational development manager, in 1978 following a career in local government finance which included posts with several London and non-metropolitan councils and latterly with Warwickshire County Coucil, where he was concerned primarily with advising on transport finance.
