Ratepayers Criticize Municipal Transport.

Glasgow Corporation's transport committee was severely criticized at a recent meeting of the ratepayers in the Tollcross district. It was stated that repeated demands for a municipal bus service had, without result, been made since 1928. Tenants had, however, been generously catered for by private firms until their licences were withdrawn under the municipal monopoly. A resolution of protest against the continued delay was passed.
