Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We publish elsewhere in this issue (page 466-407) further official particulars with regard to the Seventh Annual Parade of motorvans and other motor vehicles, including tractors, to be organized by the Commercial Motor Users Association. The Parade, which is supported by the R.A.C. and the S.M.M.T., as in previous years, is under the patronage of His Majesty the King, and it is anticipated that one of His Majesty's motor luggage vans will take part in the gathering. It is gratifying to find that the support for both the General and Special prize funds is already more considerable than was the Case a year ago, and that it even promises to rival the abnormal dimensions that were attained in Coronation year.

New readers and supporters of this journal may not be acquainted with the conditions of entry, and we strongly recommend all such newcomers to communicate at once with the Secretary of the Association. Mr. F. G. Bristow, at 89. Pall Mall, S.W. The official particulars were published in our issue of the 3rd October last, and very widely in other journals ; but we may now remind everybody who is interested that entries without fee close to-morrow (the 31st inst.). Immediate communication with the Secretary of the Association is therefore desirable, on the part of owners who desire to secure to themselves the benefits which undoubtedly follow upon participation.

One of the most important features of the 1912 Parade, which is retained this year, is the series of inspections by a qualified engineer, at the store-sheds or depots, prior to the date of the Parade. The visits of this gentleman are not notified, and experience shows that the driver,, in their anxiety to stand well and to participate in the handsome cash awards which are available for distribution, vie with one another to keep their vehicles in the best of condition, and to do so over a long term of months, instead of merely for a week or two.
