ANY SUM over £11,000 paid for a Leyland Terrier 16ft dualpurpose horsebox-livestock transporter is to be given by Lambourn Coachbuilders to the Riding for the Disabled charity. Tenders, which opened on June 30 at the Royal Show, close on September 21. An offer of 02,500 plus. vat was received at the Royal but this is well below the target figure.
The standard model is normally listed at £14,328 plus vat, but the charity version is specially finished and Lambourn Coachbuilders are looking for bids well over £14,000.
