Shipments of vehicles in the past few weeks to Corausa Corporacion Automotriz, S.A., Montevideo, the company's agents in that country, have amounted in value to nearly £100,000.

CROXSON REMANDED AGAIN I AST week, Harry Nicholas Croxson, haulier, of Berwick Road, Rainham, who had been remanded in custody by Aldershot magistrates on the charge of being concerned in the theft of a lorry and its contents, was remanded until October 3. '

He was allowed bail in the personal recognizance of £500 and two other sureties, each of £500. In addition, he was ordered to report daily at Rainham police station.

As reported last week, Croxson was charged with three other men in stealing the vehicle which, with its load of tobacco and beer, was said to be worth £30,000.

MILEAGE CUTS GRANTED
