MR. WALLACE H. BARKER, assistant chief engineer to Ribble Motor Services, Ltd., Preston, has been appointed manager of Rawtenstall (Lanes) Corporation bus undertaking, in succession to Mr. J. E. Ord, who retired recently. Mr. Barker started his career with Hull Corporation Transport Department, in which he was assistant engineer from 1933 to 1935, since when he has been with the Ribble concern.
