Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Sodexi, the giant European parcels venture which linked with WI'S in March, is to sign similar deals with TAT Express in Belgium and Express Kargo in Turkey (CM 15-21 March).

Trading as Mach+, it is seeking partners all over Europe and is actively looking in Germany, Spain and Italy. A deal in the Netherlands is expected to be signed in the autumn.

Mach+ is a joint venture between Air France, the French Post Office and TAT Express in France. In the UK it targets the express parcels market up to 50kg, but avoids competing with TNT and DHL in the document market. However, it is about to begin a regular flight out of Birmingham to compete in the overnight market.

The tie-up with WPS has been a success, according to Paris-based commercial director Phillipe Elbaz.
