DESIGNED to fit into a square hole and secured by rotating through 450 with an applicator, blind assembly nuts are being offered by the Carr Fastener Co. Ltd. in two basic sizes for fitting into a 0.375 in. or 0.5 in. hole. Each size is suitable for a thickness of material of 0.36 in. or 0.064 in. and will accept various thread forms. The smaller nut can be used with thread forms up to 0.1875 in. Whitworth and the larger nut with forms up to 0.3125 in. Whitworth.
