the trouble caused by the proposed introduction of one-man buses by the Lincolnshire Road. Car Co., Ltd., are to be discussed by the executive of the National Union of Railwaymen, in London, -next week.

Although the Union have an agreement with the company on the-subject of one-man buses, local officials and members have stated that if they are introduced they are determined to paralyse the company's services throughout, the county.

CONTEST DECISIONS EXPECTED IMPORTANT decisions on the Lorry L Driver of the Year Competition and on the proposed international contest are expected to be taken by the national organizing committee at a meeting in Coventry on November 14.

The committee will receive from a sub-committee a report on the regulations, which are to be tightened up. The question of additional eliminating centres for next year's competition will also be considered.
