FORMER EMPLOYEES of Hexham firm William Martin Oliver & Partners are currently embroiled in a Carlisle Employment Tribunal.
The four drivers took Cumbrian haulier Wm Armstrong to the Tribunal following Armstrong's takeover of Oliver.
The drivers refuse to work for the Carlisle firm because of its distance from their homes in Northumbria.
They claim that they had not been consulted over the takeover and so had effectively been dismissed.
Wm Armstrong denies the claims.
