• First shipments were made this week of Bedford CF vans and chassis cabs to West Germany. The Bedfords are specifically tailored to the needs of the German market and will be available through GM's subsidiary, Adam Opel AG.
The vehicles will be rated for Germany for 2340kg and 2540kg gvw and will be fitted with Bedford's 1.8 or 2.3 litre overhead-camshaft engine.
