• Silcock Express has won a £1 million-a-year contract to carry trucks built at Leyland Daf's Leyland plant to dealers. The manufacturer previously used owner-operators and small transporter firms.
The deal gives Silcock the UK's biggest share of CV deliveries — it also carries for Iveco Ford from its Langley factory.
