Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Tees-side Railless Traction Board has applied to operate trolley buses between Eston and Normanby. At present the Board operates trolleybuses from North Ormesby to South Bank, where the system branches to Eston and Normanby. The proposed extension, which is opposed by United Automobile Services Ltd., would link the two branches to form a circle.

Mr. L. Flynn told " The Commercial Motor" that the 14-mile link would allow much more efficient and economical operation of the system. Trolleybuses would operate a 10-minute frequency service in each d'rection round the circle with a five minutes frequency to North Ormesby. No additional trolleybuses would be required to operate the services. Mr. Flynn also stated that the Board, which has recently completed a programme of fitting new 61-seat Roc bodies to its 15 trolleybuses, has no plans for abandoning the system.
