I REFER to the letter from Mr S. J. Court (CM, January 19) about the journal's annual historic vehicle road test, in this case "We test the 1928 Beanby Bill Brock (CM, Dembember 22, 1978).
Mr Court says that although the Bean company was so small, at least three chassis turned up in psv guise in the early Thirties. In fact I can tell you that there were certainly more than three Bean chassis produced for passenger duties, and that the former Harrogate and District Road Car Company had eight.
