Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

from our Parliamentary correspondent • The Tories are furious over what they consider to be the Government's undue delay in publishing the report on track costs.

They have been pressing for these details for some time and are increasing their demands now that the Transport Bill is in committee.

Both the Tories and the Liberals have urged that unless the report is published now the committee should be adjourned. They claim that facts it contains are vital to parts of the Bill—and they are most unhappy with the Ministry of Transport promise that the report will be published "in a matter of weeks".

This forecast has come from Mr. John Morris, the Parliamentary Secretary, and in the Committee last week he said that discussion was not in any way inhibited by the fact that the report was not yet available.

Tory transport spokesmen Mr. Peter Walker and Mr. David Webster raised the matter in the Commons and Mr. Richard Crossman, Leader of the House, promised to discuss the matter with the Minister of Transport.

In the Commons on Monday Mrs. Castle said that the report would be published in about a month.
