Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Monday next, the 6th inst., will see the opening of the annual show, at the Agricultural Hall, Islington, of the Smithfield Club. The agricultural-motor, motor-vehicle, and tractor exhibits are to receive, as usual, attention at our hands. It is worthy of mention that the display this year has a fresh supporter in the Mann Patent Steam Cart and Wagon Co., Ltd. Pressure on our space limits this forecast to a bare statement of the machines which will be staged, but our next. issue will contain an illustrated, stand-to-stand report.

Tractors.

The compound tractor, which has proved itself a popular and successful model with many buyers who visit this show each year, will be sent by : Aveling and Porter, Ltd.; Clayton and Shuttleworth, Ltd.; Richard Garrett and Sons, Ltd.; Ransomes, Sims and Jefferies, Ltd.; W. Tasker and Sons, Ltd. ; and Wallis and Steevens, Ltd. A single-cylinder tractor will be sent by Savage Bras., Ltd; we are not yet advised of the exhibit by John Fowler (Leeds). Ltd.

Agricultural Motors.

Tye!, Marshall and Saunderson machines will again he on view : the lye! is to be of 18-20 h.p., with paraffin vaporizer ; the Marshall one of the 30 h.p. "Class A" models; whilst the Saunderson stand will have on it a 6-8 h.p. "Little Universal," and a 30-35 h.p. " Type B" engine. One Steam Cart.

That distinctive vehicle, the Mann patent tipping-cart, will be sent from Leeds. It is of special utility, for the driving of barn and threshing machinery, quite apart from its more-regular employment for the cartage of coal, lime, bricks, manure, produce, etc.

Stores.

The Willcox exhibit will be comprehensive, and the range of sundries upon it should be examined carefully. The chief "lines," here, will be Willcox-Jones flexible hose, injectors, feed pumps, lifting-jacks, semi-rotary pumps, packings, lubricants, and 'Willcox " Jointite."
