Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Chorley-based Leyland distributor Gilbraith Conunercials has developed — and has type-approved — a three-line braking conversion for the 16tonne Leyland Freighter.

The system uses standard components and is similar to that offered by Leyland as a factory-fitted line option for a price of around 2850. The difference with the Gilbraith conversion is that it can be fitted to an existing chassis for 21,000 — roughly half the price of the Leyland system when fitted as a retro-fit item at the factory.
