• The firm of Taskers Trailers is now in full production of 40ft skeletal chassis capable of carrying one 40ft or two 20ft ISO containers. Interesting features are the easy-to-operate retractable twistlocks (patent applied forl de-signed by Taskers.
The fabricated 21 in. 1-beam main frame is shaped at the rear and mounted on Rubery Owen M series suspension with Taskers tandem axles and 10.00 by 20 Pirelli Cinturato tyres. Braking is by 154,-,in. by 7in. fixed cam sliding shoes operated by a three-line air pressure system.
Special features required by the operator, Seawheel Ltd., include an anti-pilfering device for rear lamp glasses and front corner steady legs.
