Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ACTIVE AUCTIONS has sold more than a third of its stock as more than 560 people registered for its rolling online sale.

Chris Hart (pictured above), boss of Trucks2Go (Hart set on success'. CM I May 2008) and the man behind the rolling weeklong online auction, was pleased with the impact. He says: "It needs a few tweaks, but people have said they'll use us again."

There were 65 commercial vehicles available and, as CM went to press, 22 of that number was sold, although ongoing negotiations should see that rise."I would've loved 50% conversion," Hart says, "but would also have been happy with 25%."

He adds: "People liked that there was more information and an addres.s to come and see the items."

Hart will add vehicles when they become available to ensure the auction is continuous. The key, he explains, is the accuracy of description. Each vehicle has a number of photographs and close-ups of any damage, plus administration details.

Several people made appointments during the initial run to see lots before bidding. Anything unsold will go through a second time before changes are made to the reserve and admin costs ready for a third sale, •
