Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE BACKERS OF a pan-European truck parking information website are calling on UK truckstops to register with and provide data for the site.

The European Commission-funded www.truckinform.eu, established by SETPOS (Secured European Truck Parking Services), has information on around 143 UK truckstops. However, it is urging operators of truckstops that have not yet registered to fill out their details and reservation possibilities.

The site catalogues more than 2,700 truck parking areas in 40 countries across Europe. It is aiming for a database of 3,000-4,000, including port areas and terminals, and if specialist trucker restaurants are included, the figure could be as high as 5,000. Speaking to CM, Rudolf Annex, chief executive officer of Move and Park, a Parisbased telematics firm that has been part of the SETPOS project, says that including as much "dynamic data" about available sites as possible, including the number of available parking spaces, will become the most relevant part of the service.
