• Motor Panels, the manufacturer and designer of commercial-vehicle cabs, has been bought from its parent company Rubery Owen by CH Industrials for £7.5 million.

Motor Panels builds cabs for the Leyland Dal Roadrunner, Seddon Atkinson's 3-11 and 211 and the Iveco Ford sleepercab Cargo. It is unlikely, however, to manufacture cabs for the new Seddon Atkinson Strato.
