Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A fitted in-vehicle satellite navigation system is now available for under 2100.

The TravelMBactive satellite navigation system, from Yeoman, is being made available through branches of The Carphone Warehouse and transforms a standard handsfree mobile phone into a satellite navigation system that provides route directions to drivers by voice, based on a hands-free kit.

Drivers will have to dial into the service, admits Yeoman spokesman Sam Homes, and TravetM8active is also based on phone cell location which is not as accurate as GPS, he admits. However, the TravelM8active service can also be used for route planning and to provide traffic information on events further on down a driver's route, sending users an SMS to alert them to forthcoming jams and inviting them to call in for an alternative route.

System installation cost is £99.99, with a flat fee of DO/month for calls or a pay-asyou-go option on call charges of 60p/minute.
