• Several Gray & Adams' straight-necked prototype reefers are under operator evaluation, equipped with Carrier Maxima fridge units, hold 33 Europallet loads.
New materials such as highyield steels is believed to have kept tare weights well below the 8.5 tonnes of G&A's existing 13.6m lightweight reefers.
