DALTON BYPASS APPROVED • The Government has given the go-ahead for the proposed bypass of Dalton-in-Furness and the A590 Melton Terrace improvement scheme in Cumbria. The scheme will start at a new roundabout on Park Road to the west of the town and run to the north of Dalton, ending at a new roundabout junction south of Melton Terrace.
