THE Duke of Edinburgh is to pay an informal visit to the Motor Industry Research Association's research laboratory and proving ground at Lindley, near Nuneaton, on Tuesday. He is expected to be there for a period of five hours.
He is due to arrive at the proving groundat 11 a.m. and the morning will be spent in inspecting the laboratOries. After luncheon he is expected to watch various vehicles undergoingtest on the track.
RATIONING COST r'OST of administering restrictions on,
oil consumplion and petrol rationing is at present about £20,000 a week, -Mr. D. Renton, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Power, told Mr. Ernest Davies on Monday.
