Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A N accompanying illustration shows

a striking bus of unusual appearance which has recently been put into service by Liverpool Corporation. The vehicle carries 12 passengers and is to operate between the city and Liverpool Airport.

The chassis is a Dennis Ace with forward control, but without the halfbonneting of the Mace type, and, apart from the positioning of the con trols, it is a standard model. The streamlined body is also a product of Dennis Bros., Ltd., of Guildford.

In the design of the body a successful attempt has-been made to secure a streamline contour suggestive of aircraft practice, without sacrifice of seat.;ng capacity. The resultant curves have also governed the setting out of

the wing panels, which have a slight inward taper outside the wheelbase. The headlights are recessed into the front panelling and the radiator is hidden from the front by a grille in the tapered front of the body. The main entrance to the body is gained by way of a hinged door, with an automatic falling step, which is placed behind the elongated front wing on the near side. An emergency door is provided on the off side.

Shelves are provided for baggage, the capacity being estimated as equivalent to the usual allowances for 12 passengers travelling by air.
