Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

dominic.perryfrbi.co.uk FELIXSTOWE container haulage firm K&M Haulage London is to face a disciplinary public inquiry (PI) next month in front of Eastern Traffic Commissioner Richard The firm had been continuing the business of collapsed operators K&M Haulage (UK) and Don Hunter (Transport). which went bust in April leaving a total deficiency of £1.88m. but now it faces its own problems with the PI appearance on 26 August. One thing the PI may attempt to establish is the whereabouts of its operating centre: VOSA records show that it and sister firm K&M Haulage (Ireland) list the Orwell Crossing lorry park as their operating centre, but both hauliers were asked to remove their vehicles from the site on 3 July due to unpaid bills totalling nearly £7,000.

Orwell Crossing owner Karl Rout says he threatened the companies with eviction and was promised a part-payment of his debts. Both companies are run by Graham Avery; he was unavailable to comment.

Meanwhile, Enfield-based haulier Motorway Transport has distanced itself from rumours that it has purchased either K&M Haulage London or K&M Haulage (Ireland).

A company spokesman says it has taken over the finance of several vehicles and is in negotiations with the landowner to potentially take over the lease on Don Hunter (Transport)'s Dooley Road. Felixstowe premises
