A BRITISH driver I claimed that he was detait and beaten up by Fren police after he produced onl photostat of his vehicle M certificate.
In a statement made to t Continental Freight Drivi Club, Peter Griffiths, of Olde tells how he and anott driver were ordered to pay £800 fine when it v realised that they did not hE the certificates.
Mr Griffiths says the in dent happened at Chamot while he and the driver, Ashton, were on the road Reggio Emillia driving for 1V. Fleet Services, of Hull.
