Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OAPs redesigned rear-axle air suspenion, first shown at the Brussels Show (CM, January 22), will be available as an option on all Daf models with a single drive-axle, twin frontaxles (FAB models) or steered loading rear axle (FIG/FAG), writes TIM BLAKEMORE.

Clearly, Daf anticipates an increasing demand for air suspension on tractive units in the UK to improve rise and stability at 38-tonnes gcw.

The major changes on the latest Daf air suspension are the use of a Panhard rod for lateral location of the axle and the mounting of the telescopic dampers on the outside of the chassis frame rather than on the inside as on earlier models, so that they now act vertically.

Each of the air bellows is fitted with a levelling valve and the Daf system's height adjustment has two control points, one inside and one outside the cab.
