During the week ended January 12th, 65,617 passengers were carried on the motorbuses run by the Hull Corporation. These buses have been in operation for a little over a year, but despite their success, as proved by the weekly revenue figures, a proposal for considering a Parliamentary Bill that, tramway extensions he made in rural districts was recently carried at a town's meeting—for -what, reason we are at a loss to understand. It, is generally admitted that the motorbus is particularly well adapted to the seecific requirements of residents in rural districts.
