THE MAN Bendibus righthand drive articulated singledecker has been so successful in trial service with National Bus's City of Oxford Motor Services that its demonstration period has been extended.
The 159-passenger vehicle has been carrying over 800 passengers on some of its preChristmas park and ride services in Oxford and has been operated in other parts of the company's territory.
It was shown to the public in Abingdon, Thame, Witney, and Bicester before embarking on another day's park and ride work in Oxford on Saturday, December 23.
Passenger questionnaires were circulated on Bendibus during its periods of COMS service.
