• Disciplinary proceedings against Halley Lomas (Ireland) have been adjourned by Eastern Licensing Authority Brigadier Compton Boyd until September.
A Department of Transport vehicle examiner told a Peterborough public inquiry that the company, which holds a licence for seven vehicles and 10 trailers, had a poor annual test failure rate. There appeared to be no maintenance procedure and vehicle inspection appointments had not been kept.
