Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

last week rejected without comment appeals made by the British Transport Commission, Scottish Omnibuses, Ltd., and Western S.M.T. Co., Ltd. Together with British European Airways, the surface operators appealed, last April (see The Commercial Motor of April 13 and 27), against the granting oF a number of routes (including services between London and Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dublin) by the Air Licensing Board to British United Airways and Cunard Eagle Airways.
