Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Two lubricants, Heat Lube and Plus Lube, are being marketed by Terochem Industrial Chemicals. Heat Lube !is said to be capable of protecting ferrous and non-ferrous components from, temperatures as low as minus 200°C up to 2000'C, by farming a bond between the lubricant and the metal.

Once the bond is made, claims Terochem, neither adverse weather conditions nor, in the case of moving parts, centrifugal force will disturb the lubricant.

Plus Lube, has a more general application. Its •main function is to provide a lubricating 'film over such things as exposed gears, chains and so on, where it may be used without removing existing grease.

• Both lubricants are available in aerosol sprays of 454 grammes, but 25 litres may be purchased complete with free application sprays.
