Hydraulic timber loader

A NEW Hiab-Jonsered 1000 hydraulic timber loader equipped with optional load-sensing (LC) valve system will be one of three models demonstrated by George Cohen Machinery of Sunbeam Road, London, at the Forestry Machinery Demonstration, Windsor from September 12-14.

The new loader is a 10 tonne/metre capacity machine with an outreach of 7.6m (25ft) and features a new boom system with an improved closed box-section main boom and a hexagonalshaped outer section for greater lateral stiffness.

It has a patented hose arrangement within the outer boom and a lower parking height than existing EB and EK100 cranes.
