Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

qATIONAL Bus Company isidiary has thrown its ght into the North Wales unt market.

:ro ; ville Motor Services, in Lju nction with Gwynedd m y Council, the Snowdon lohal Park, and the Coun;idle Commission, is turning r school buses to special vies geared to summer ri ts' needs.

lie main service, Snowdon Tpa, made a E600 profit last r,I and is being extended 'ear to connect with the e tly-extended Festiniog row gauge railway.

t rovides a cross-town link at Blaenau Ffestiniog, and links the Stuulan Dam with Tan yg Raisidn. It also serves the slate caverns at Llechwedd.

The Snowdon Sherpa is being run principally as a park and ride service in the congested national park and is being underwritten by the Countryside Commission. A Crosville spokesman told CM: "The Countryside Commission has put in a considerable amount of publicity in places which an ordinary bus company cannot reach."

Crosville uses Bristol LH6L single-deckers on the routes because of their favourable power to weight ratio and their manual gearboxes. The spokesman said: "The LH makes us safe going downhill and reasonably fast going up."

Seafront services at Rhyl and Llandudno are being run again this year with open-top double-deckers. That at Rhyl is described as "fantastic" by Crosville, and the company is confident of growth at Llandudno.

The spokesman added: "We are not competing with cars in this area, but with slot machines and candyfloss stalls."
