Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Transporting a machine which generates a beam so intense that it can boil tungsten in 10-8 second might pose a problem to some people. But to Ford truck distributor Bushey Vale Garages Ltd. London Road, Watford. it was all in a recent week's work.

The company was contracted to transport the equipment from Histon, near Cambridge, to Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire via Stuttgart.

Manufacturer of the equipment, Cambridge Vacuum Engineering, a member of the Torvac Group, had to deliver it from its Histon Plant to Hunting Engineering at Hoddesdon, but was also exhibiting it at an international seminar at the University of Stuttgart.

The machine, a CVE3OH electron beam welder worth £11,000, was fully operational in the lorry and carried its own supply of compressed air. A lorry was chosen in preference to all other methods of transport because the whole equipment, including a range of accessories, could be installed to form a mobile demonstration unit. The vehicle was a Ford 1310610 with an all-box body.
