Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The FTA has accepted "reluctantly" the need to revise heavy goods vehicle testing and re-testing fees as proposed by the Minister for Transport Industries when he laid before Parliament, on June 26, the Motor Vehicles (Tests) (Amendment) Regulations, 1972 (CM June 30).

The FTA is concerned, however, with the proposal for an increase in the re-test fee and it states that acceptance of the revised fees is conditional upon discussion beir initiated at an early date with a view extending the circumstances in which a fr re-test is permitted.

The Amendments propose that the fl should be £6 for a first examination ar periodical test of vehicles and £4 for trailer This means an increase of £1 for two-axl( vehicles, no change for three-axled vehict and a reduction of £1 for four-axled vehicle
