• The bulk liquid tanker operator and haulier City Transport has bought Bristol-based parcels carrier Premier Transport.
City Transport, which is based in Milton Keynes with a depot in Stockport, specialises in the carriage of musical instruments and runs a fleet of some 60 vehicles.
Premier will trade under the City Transport name but its staff and vehicles will be retained at Bristol.
