Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

In response to John Vosper's comments on "non cooperation" (CM14-20 Feb), feel I have to respond in validation of VI staff, especially those at Royston VI where I have taken my vehicles for the past 20 years.

On Thursday 7 February our vehicle at test required a rear number plate bulb and nearside headlight adjustment. Having picked the vehicle up from my local ERF maintenance garage after a full service and preMoT. checkover I was slightly embarrassed!

The VI staff supplied bulb, screwdriver, and even adjusted the headlamp alignment, thus saving a retest fee and return to testing station.

I have always found the staff at Royston VI. both male and female, very helpful and obliging. Long may common sense and flexibility reign there. Paul IlIches, Paul Riches Skips, Kempston Hardwick, Beds.
