APPL1CATIONS to run excursions and tours from Ayrshire holiday resorts to destinations via the Forth Road Bridge have been made by Dodds Coaches. Troon, to the Scottish Traffic Commissioners.
The company thinks that routeing the services via the new bridge will be an added attraction to Visitors. Another bus operator made similar applications some time ago but was told these were premature. Dodds' licences are now coming up for renewal, and they hope the bridge may be open this year.
