Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

If ever proof were needed that the good times are returning to this industry, then I am the living embodiment of that proof.

I am the managing director of a commercial driving agency, providing all types of driver, but am having to go out on the road myself to operate a dray for one of my clients for lack of drivers.

Something really needs to be done. There appears to be a desperate skills shortage, especially on the higher class of licence, throughout the South-East.

To help matters we've opened a branch in the Eastbourne area, not to find work, but drivers.

So far so good. The solution would appear to be moving people from where work is scarce to where it can be

found. But who will pay for that?

Any ideas? Or better still, any drivers! I look forward to your readers' comments. Paul Carey
