STUART MACKAY is the new traffic manager with Highland Omnibuses, the Scottish Bus Group's Inverness-based subsidiary.
He was previously the assistant traffic manager with Eastern Scottish, and has been with SBG since 1951 when he became a driver with Western SMT. He moved from Western to Eastern in 1976, having latterly been Western's Ayr district traffic superintendent.
Mr Mackay succeeds Gordon Steele, who has left SBG's service after working for Highland and, before that, Midland Scottish.
