A MERTHYR TYDFIL haulier had one of his lorries removed from his B licence at a Section 178 inquiry at Cardiff on Tuesday. Mr. David William Williams of Bron Deg, Heolgerrig, had immediate prohibition notices issued on both his vehicles following an inspection

in February. A vehicle examiner found 15 defects.

Mr. Williams told the LA that he took his vehicles to a garage every week. "For the last three weeks, I have had my own fitter and he has corrected all the defects mentioned," said Mr. Williams.
