New Pattern Shops.
David Brown and Sons (Hudd.), Ltd., of Huddersfield, is transferring its East-Parade pattern NA orks to Lockwood, where new shops covering an area of 14,000 sq. ft. are being erected alongside the company's foundry and gear works. These new
premises will be replete with all the latest woodworking machinery, extensive stores, drying sheds, stoves and timber yard. The company is very busy—it has 100 workpeople in its pattern-making department—on all classes of work from motor patterns to those for large marine turbines,
