OCTOBER 28, the day upon which the next stage of London Transport's short-term bus plan takes another step forward, is also the last day when senior citizens may travel without photographs on their travel permits.
Senior citizens have been asked to go to their local post offices with their old permit, pension book, and two identical passsport photographs.
New permits with photographs have been issued at post offices since September 4, according to the Greater London Council.
